Conspiracy Theories and Theorists

We hear about these things all the time from both the Right and the Left (though much more often from the Right). People wonder why I don’t latch onto them, or why I disparage them so much. People even wonder why I am an advocate for One World Government. The Mishnah (one of the groups of collections of Rabbinical writings) has the answer to this:

“Can men gather grapes from thorns, or figs from thistles? He who has ears let him hear: By their fruits you shall know them.”

Most of the conspiracy theories lead down one road: hate, despair, distrust. They never lead down the road to love and peace. There is your qualifier. How does a given conspiracy meme make you feel, or react?  Peace, hope, love, or distrust and hate?

The big one, the most popular one, has been around for a long time. It involves a conspiracy to bring about a One World Government. This government they say will be run by an autocratic dictator who will incarcerate any free thinking people, impoverish the majority and for a small number , work for them to reap all the rewards. Generally, the scenario goes like this: the Illuminati, started on May 1, 1776 in Bavaria, is the leading edge; or central command of a cabal of groups which include Freemasonry, Yale’s Skull and Bones  Club, the Trilateral Commission, the Club of Rome, the Council on Foreign Relations,
the Bohemian Grove, the Bilderbergers, and a handful of others. Oh, I almost forgot: the Jews. There are also a handful of families which pull the strings, notably the Rockefellers (on this side of the pond) and the Rothschilds. Usually, these groups are all part of the conspiracy. Principle voices for this go back a long ways, most prominently to Nazi Germany, where the Protocols of the Elders of Zion was popular. In our time, the John Birch Society was/is a prominent proponent and more recently we have Alex Jones, Glen Beck, and David Icke. A You tube video that has gone viral and picked up a lot of converts is the movie Thrive and earlier the movie Zeigeist.

When Christians get involved with this, the Anti-Christ is the head honcho over all of them. The craziest of the crazies, David Icke, cites that a number of them are alien reptilians in human disguise, and has even captured some on video (such as Queen Elizabeth) “phasing” into their true reptilian form.Generally it is Christian Fundamentalists (who also usually throw the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church and the Jesuit
Order into the soup)
who really get into this, as these are the signs of the Return of Christ, or so they say.

Alex Jones is one who has infiltrated the Bohemian Grove, allegedly exposing the gatherings with a camera, and exposing elaborate Pagan rituals going on in the woods. These gatherings are the exclusive realm of powerful, wealthy, white, Republican men (with lots of gay goings on as well (of course!) Richard Nixon, a member of the club since 1953, said, “The Bohemian Grove, that I attend from time to time; the Easterners and the others come there but it is the most faggy goddamn thing you could ever imagine, that San Francisco crowd that goes in there; it’s just terrible! I mean I won’t shake hands with anybody from San Francisco.”

As already mentioned, it is mainly Fundamentalist Christians who get into this as seen from Alex Jones claim that the Cremation of Care was an “ancient Canaanite, Luciferian, Babylon mystery religion ceremony,” and that the owl statue was Moloch.

So having pointed this out, why in world would Pagans get wrapped up in this? Don’ t they know that Pagans are part of the conspiracy? But it was through the movies Thrive, and especially Zeitgeist, which starts out with an elaborate “expose” about Jesus being the Sun God (some theories about which,
particularly the Horus connection, fall apart on examination, but otherwise ring pretty true)
where Pagans and atheists get sucked in.I have a great number of problems; well, questions really, about all this:

  1.  If this conspiracy has been going on since the 1700s, why is it not in place yet? (The United Nations is a good candidate, but is a shallow hull of what would actually be required to bring about a true OWG).
  2.  Given the huge number of Masonic icons in our historical and present day Government (US) why has no one figured out that OWG is exactly what the founding Fathers (most of whom where Freemasons themselves) had in mind all along? (Why do we have “States” rather than provinces? (Hint: A “State”
    is a sovereign nation)
    .
  3. Why hasn’t anyone figured out that just being a citizen of the United States makes you a co-conspirator?

There is a reason for number 1: War. War is BIG business. War makes billionaires. As long as the status quo remains as it is; as long as everything is a separate country, and the UN remains a hollow, almost useless icon (at least of hope), there will never be a One World Government because that would put an almost immediate end to warfare and the vast trillions of dollars we spend globally on standing militaries (because of what possible need would we have for them otherwise?). No, as long as there are giant corporations out there in the war business, there will never be a One World Government.

So why the theorizing? Well, the status quo needs a scared populace who have something or some group of people to hate. It doesn’t   matter who they are: the Jews have always been popular (especially those Zionist
Jews, who have been the brunt of this stuff from regimes on both the Left and Right, from Communist Russia to Nazi Germany)
, or the uber-rich (who have much more to gain from their NOT ever being an OWG than they have from their being one). Conspiracy theories keep people divided from another. They keep the masses (sheeple) from seeing who the real enemy is, and rising up. They also feed giant corporations who make guns (gotta have lots of guns), survival kits and equipment, and all sorts of other things. Oh yeah the Gold market. That ones a real driver of the conspiracy wagon, even though in recent years, when the price for gold should be going up (due to demand) it is going down (but Silver has been going up). What I have seen is that getting wrapped up into all this distracts from getting ones spiritual house in order.

Hate and Love cannot co-exist. Light and Dark cannot co-exist. Recently, my wife and I were talking with a very beloved friend of ours. The chat was going well, and then I happened to mention my concern, as a Pagan elder should, of their flirtations with conspiracy theories. You could actually see the hate pass over her face. It quickly subsided, but I can imagine that a chat ensued when she got back with her husband, and it would not surprise me if we never see them again. I’m finding that this infection is getting bigger and bigger, even within the Progressive and Pagan communities (with some Pagans beginning to lean toward the Right). We saw it in 2010 when in the United States, Progressives stayed home from the
polls to punish Obama for not being Liberal enough. You saw what that got us the most useless Congress in history! My wife, ever a beacon of hope (and an Astrologer) says that what we are seeing in Congress and in the Republican dominated States, is the death rattle of the Piscean Age, now that we have just entered into the very beginnings of the Age of Aquarius. On the other hand, among those of us who are Light Workers (primarily Druids and Reiki Masters): we see things for what they really are. It’s really simple: if something makes you hate and fear, then that something is of the dark side. If it makes you have feelings of love and hope, and a desire to join the collective of Light. Then that is of the powers of Light.  One thing we need to remember in all this: those who have embraced the dark are part of the God Collective as much as we are. We just have to keep loving them back to the light. Remember that scientifically, darkness does not actually exist it’s simply the absence of Light. Remember too, that perfect love casts out all fear.

As for One World Government: well, who wants an end to war? Who wants a world where every child has the opportunity to be what ever s/he wants to be? Who wants a world where there is no homelessness, where everyone has all the education they can get, where hunger and poverty and disease have been annihilated forever? W e can have that! We want that! And we will prevail! SO SAY WE ALL!
